Out of curiosity we decided to switch TV channels from the snooker tonight to watch for the first time Susan Boyle, the talent show singing sensation. Needn't have bothered; Beryl who knows about such things said she had a nice voice, no stage presence and was boring so to my delight she suggested switching back again.Frankly, I thought that the Susan Boyle story of rags to riches is almost too good to be true! She should worry having sold a million records already.
PS: The snooker was won by a genuine sensation from China named Sing (sorry, we meant Ding)
